My fiance and I were so excited to take this vacation as we were celebrating our new engagement. Unfortunately it all turned into a nightmare.

To start, we had issues from day one with simple requests like having towels brought up and fixing things in our room. The staff frequently forgot about requests and at most times went unresolved. At the time these were more annoyances than anything and we didn't pay it much mind because we wanted to enjoy our vacation.

Our third night we were there we were robbed from our hotel room while out to dinner (we had issues with our room safe too). All our valuable electronics in the room were gone, along with all of our cash! We later found out through various employees (management included) and other guests that 3 other rooms had things taken also! Needless to say we were very upset about our things being taken, but became even more upset with the treatment of the hotel staff! We were passed around from person to person frequently having to wait around to speak to someone new. We quickly got the impression that the hotel was simply stalling until our clock ran out and we had to leave for the airport. We communicated with the hotel after our return home regarding the incident and everything we went through during our stay and were responded with "We're sorry for the inconvenience."

If everything is going good, they will certainly be your best friend, but as soon as issues arise you will be low on their priority list. I HIGHLY discourage anyone considering this resort.

Monetary Loss: $2200.
